WHY IS THE POWDER PALE IN COLOUR AND NOT RED? The acerola cherries in this product are harvested early in their growing cycle as this is when they contain their highest levels of nutrients. Due to this, the cherries (and therefore the powder) are naturally pale in colour and have a bitter flavour.
